The leaves were just starting to change… Very pretty in the Smoky Mountains last weekend!

Nestled in the smokey mountains about 20 minutes outside of Sevierville.

We had a great time at the Tennessee State Fair this year… lots of interesting people around, that’s for sure!
Part of the old Nashville City Hospital complex… if I’m not mistaken, this is considered the “art deco” building and was used as a school. Currently the complex is being renovated into condos.

The main waterfall at Fall Creek Falls State Park in TN. At 256 feet, this is the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River.

A different view of the Cumberland River just past downtown Nashville a few minutes after sunset.

Many more pics coming… Amanda and I had a wonderful time in Chattanooga last weekend. This amazing rock formation is found in the cave to Ruby Falls, inside of Lookout Mountain.

Situated in downtown Nashville, just off interstate 65, commuters pass by a group of buildings that offer only small clues to their past prominence. Barry Walker, the present owner of the buildings, quietly inches his way, restoring the buildings to their prior glory.
The main building was constructed in 1881 as “The Phoenix Cotton Mill” also known as the Nashville Cotton Mill. By 1910 the building was vacant.

Taken a few months back, I just got around to working on this scan of an abondoned shed down off of Nolensville Rd south of Nashville. I think I was shooting on some cheapo Kroger film that my girlfriend got for about a $1 for 4 rolls… actually turned out some nice pictures!
